Threaded keltec sub 2k :)

Post by EEdave86 on Wed Nov 02 2011, 20:42

I finally got this thing threaded! Ive had it in pieces for about 2 months now... I installed a red lion precision rotating rail on it and got rid of all the stock sights. While i had it apart, also chopped off some of the grip to accommodate the glock 19 mags. Love this thing!

Very nice!

I really like my Sub2000 that takes Glock mags but I hate the awkward angle I have to crane my neck into to get a cheek weld that allows me to use the stock sights.

It's on the back burner, but I plan a sight upgrade in the future.

Did you have to sleeve the barrel to accomodate the large threads and provide a shoulder for suppressor mounting? Thats what it appears as to me. Im looking for similar work right now.

Wow it looks like your sights are way higher than factory. How high are they above center of bore? How far away does the target have to be before you can get POA/POI to match?

Havnt been on the range just yet. I will let you know. I did shoot it at my parents house this past weekend to see what it sounded like. Action noise was loud, but still very fun to shoot.
