...this soldier has a very interesting take on how this mission really went down. I agree with much of what he says in regard to how this should have been handled following the take-down.

interesting read. It sounds just like a bunch of politicians... wanting to claim the glory at the expense of ruining intelligence that could have been very useful.

I wonder what the main reason the "verification" photos were never released?

The only thing(S) are. He was proven by the current SEAL Members and Special Operations Command to have no inside track. He claimed to have advised on the mission, which turned out not to be true, even though he claims it in his book, on Larry King, the day the SOC came out and said they never heard of the guy, he denied having anything to do with the mission. In the book, he gets the weapons, aircraft and current tactics of the SEALS completely wrong. The guys a phony. He has terminal cancer and wrote the book to make money for medical care.

That's terrible.

Do you know off hand if pictures were ever taken of Bin Laden or is not seeing them something we're just going to have to live with?

I have never even heard of the 10% Rule before
