Anyone use mils??

Just got a new scope and i am use to mil dots but the turrets are also mils.. does anyone use the same setup?? if so, what do you think about the mil adjustments?? any input woud be greatful.. thanks

I like the idea of not having to convert, but I have never used it.

thats what the guy was saying that it is easier in field for that reason.. but, i cannot figure out to save my life how in the world to compensate for wind as far as my turrets.. i have the .25 down but the .1 is killing me..

One mil would be the distance from your reticle to the first dot, if you're on the correct magnification. I would have to measure with the reticle until I got the hang of it. You should be able to find a table that translates inches to mils on the internet. You'd just have to reference it until you got the hang of it.
