Thanks for all the help and comments. Here is the result of trying another scope. This time 25 yds. with the same Barnes Vortex 180gr. factory load.

First shot 1.75" left & .25" high
Second shot 1" left & .25" low
Third Shot and Fourth Shot 1" and 1.5" right & .50" low on both (they were overlapping one another)
Fifth Shot 2" right & .50" low

So basically as barrel gets warmer the bullet starts moving??

I did nothing different from first time except (1) Change the scope and (2) bring in the target from 50 yards to 25 yards.

Definitely going to send this one back to TC and see what they say. I'll try to keep you guys updated as TC says it takes about 4 to 6 weeks to turn around answer.

Going to mount the Nikon Monarch I had on another rifle to make sure nothing wrong with it.

Thanks again everyone

I've had (and still have) several handi-rifles -- good rifles, but they don't compare to the TCs.

Off a bench with front and rear rest. Solid as a rock foundation.

Im'm having a little trouble getting mine (35W) to group under and inch. I shooting the 200 and some 250's. Gonna try a new powder and a different COL. Right now it's shooting 1/14 to 1/15 moa. I want it to shoot MOA or better. My 243 and the 45 70 are both MOA shooters. And by the way, JOE S I will be getting my H&R 35 W back in a week or so. Hope she is a good shooter;
Jim <")))><

I had a similar problem with my T/C in .35 Whelen. Zeroed @ 50 yards with three rounds of 200gr. Hornady's and moved to 100 yards. It was shooting high and right not grouping well at all. After shooting another 8 rounds, I pulled a bore snake through the barrel, let it cool down good and adjusted the scope. The next three rounds went into a group about three quarters of an inch. Bore snaked again, adjusted my scope and went into a new box of the Hornady ammo to double check myself before the season opened. The next three rounds were inside of an inch, one inch high at a hundred. Ain't touching nothing. It might of been me, but I don't think so.

Update: Going to try something different. I dropped it off tonight to have new mounts put on it and a general look over with maybe a new hinge pin. I plan to put Nosler Custom Accubond 225 gr. ammo through it next.

Will let everyone know how this turns out.

Thanks Drew. If the new scope mounts and hinge pin don't work I'll give that a try.

Thanks,
Mac

Go to this site and read what they say about accuracy on tc's.
Link is towards bottom on left side of page. Hope this helps.

Yeah, Mike knows T/C and stays busy. He is even to busy to do trigger work, but a few years ago I sent my Pro Hunter for some trigger work to Barrett's in Alabama that was listed on Mike sites. He did a great job and was very knowledgeable on T/C. At one time I had heard about head spacing problems on the T/C 35. Below is address where my trigger work was done.

I had a larger hinge pin put in it and a DNZ scope mount. Wasn't my idea but I'm thankful to the person who suggested it.
