emergency alert test?

I was listening to a talk show today and the guy said their gonna have a "real" one next july. he didnt elaberate on i. how can they have a real one in july 2012? a planned emergency? anyone else hear this?

It was a big FAIL. Like the rest of this administration. Some people heard lady gaga.

I heard that show also and notice how the DJ's didn't spend much time on it? Kind of makes ya wonder, did the guy who sent the email really know something? Or just another conspiracy nut? Then i started thinking about the meteor that just passed our way a few days ago. Is there another one out there? Does the White House know about something we don't?

There was a test yesterday ?.... Who cares....

That's just what I wanna hear just before the big flash and emp...an irritating voice singing.

If they really want to alert everyone, why not just have all mobile carriers send out a text message. I bet more people are near a mobile phone at any given time than near TV or radio.

I was waiting for a full TV, Radio, Cell phone interuption/alert. I got nothing. A messege came across the bottom of my TV screen letting me know that a test would be conducted in 15minutes. And nothing happened. Not a thing. Kind a like Y2K. I was on the Computer waiting for complete FUBAR and nothing!

Real one in July 2012? One month before the RNC announces the Republican Candidate. (Conspiracy?)

I was home and kind of groggy from minor surgery that morning. I heard the test over the tv but as far as other media was concerned I really did not care. My anestheic and pain med addled brain recalls what I heard being much like the old emergency alert test and it did not last very long. But don't take my word on any of that as I was still fairly out of it.
