Dear Lord...........I think I want a g-g-glock.........talk me out of it please

I have the chance to get a new pistol in the $550-600 range and for some sick strange reason the G26 is really calling to me right now and I just can't figure out why!?!? I like the size and the 26 just feels good(for a glock anyway). I also like the 19, but I'm wanting another deep concealment gun so the g26 fits that bill better. And for some reason since getting my BHP I've become a bigger fan of 9mm than .40, especially in something that size.

I have a XDm already so im familiar with plastic, but ive just never been a Glock fan....Someone please just talk some sense into me.........because the thought of buying a glock is just disturbing the he11 out of me ....help!

Take a look at the s&w m&p compact. Ive had one in 40 along with a glock 27. I will have another m&p, not likely on the glock unless its a killer deal.

Go for it - Glock 26 is a great gun

M&P aint bad either..as a matter of fact you might be hard pressed to tell the difference between the baby Glock and the smaller M&P.

If it fits your hand good...give it a whirl...Though no beauty queen...I've never had a Glock that was not extremely reliable...and I've had a s**t-load of em

Only thing is I've shot a m&p compact(.40), doesn't feel quite as good as the glock in the hand to me but did shoot pretty good. But I've never shot the 26

Did you change out the backstraps on the m&p to fit your hand? makes a pretty big difference. Glocks just dont fit me right.

Wasn't my m&p, the owner didn't bring the other back straps to the range but even having felt the ones in shops with smaller backstraps I still don't like the feel as much

Another reason why I like the 26 is the lack of a rail. No need for it with a gun that size. it's just added bulk

Who needs a external safety...not me

The safety is between your ears and Glock has proven itself to be an extremely safe pistol if you handle it correctly. There's no substitute for having your s**t together

One thing I will say...if you gonna carry it with one in the pipe. a holster with a trigger guard is a must have

Only issue I have with my 26 is that due to its smaller grip size its a tad harder to hold on to. I also own a 19 and a 36 slimline....in 45 acp...That's a nice concealed carry

I am not carrying without one in the pipe....with that said, I won't carry without a proper holster.

36 slim:
If I'm going to go down to that capacity I'd rather just get a 3" 1911

Get it......... there's enough closet Glocksters on the forum, that you can re-sell if you don't like it!!!!!!!

On BubbaT's note, I like my Sig2022, but would prefer a Glock for carry.... Sig is too large, too many corners, and too heavy... IMO. It is a good shooter, but then so are my G23 and G30.....

Man I'm telling the 36 is a pretty awesome gun...pretty hard to find though...last I looked...

Since I got a pile of 1911's I wanted a plastic 45

I'd cry my ass off if I got a Colt 1911 stole out of the car...I'd live if I lost the Glock 36
