Single Action Bar Mossy 500

I have a Mossberg 500 with the single action bar and looking to dress it up a bit. Does anyone know if the Blackhawk Spec Ops stock with the recoil reduction will work with this gun?

How old is it? dont think ive ever seen a single bar gun. One of mine is a late 60s early 70s(not sure , i inherited it) and its a double bar. If youll take a picture of the rear of the receiver ill compare it to mine.

i believe its a 1968 since it has a single action bar and a serial #. they started producing double action bars around 1970. i'm sure the buttstock will fit, but was unsure of the forend.

I know there is an adapter for the short forend, but I don't have a clue what is on the single bar guns. I never measured the forend on my older one to see what's on it. I can take some measurements off the long bar gun I have if you want to compare it to yours. I'd rather not take the older gun apart since I don't have a spanner wrench for the nut, I'd really hate to scratch it... Newer one I don't care as its getting redone soon, factory paint has not held up well.

I have an extra Knox tactical forend for the 500 shoot me a pm with your address and ill send it to you to try. It's ugly and needs painted, but it'll work for finding out if it'll fit.
