Yes, I have had FTFs with an H&K .45, a CZ .40, and a Ruger MK II.

I have never fired my 1911.

Have shot my Glocks a good bit with never a problem.

On the other hand, I have NEVER had a failure to fire a revolver.

It's all that ching-chang mechanism movement and magazine design that sets a semi-auto up for failure.

Stove pipe? Yep.
Nose dive into the ramp? Yep.
Round hang up in the magazine? Yep.
Incorrectly sized reload round? Yep.

The list goes on.

If you do risk/failure analysis, you know that the more moving parts and the more critical the dimensions, the more likely you are to get a failure.

Fortunately we still have a choice, and I never try to change anybody's mind about anything.

A Ruger MKII will hang up more than most anything. I had tons of them over the years. The MKIII just about never does. Some little difference in the two made all the difference in the world.
