my recommendation would be the caldwell table. its bulky but very sturdy.

its very sturdy. i've looked at a few others and the typical tube and wire ones were just not good enough.

I've used a Timber Ridge from Cabela's for three or four years now. It folds flat for storage, is light weight and has proven to be pretty sturdy. I think it was around $80 or $90.

I just looked at the Cabela's site and the have one of the Shooting Tables in the Bargin Cave for $179. If I was in the market for one I would probably give that a try. Being able to swivel the seat seperately from the table is a big plus. Having three points of contact is more stable than having four and trying to compensate for the rocking motion.

Coyote Jakes looks nice. Is Rogers sporting goods online the best place to get it. $119 is not bad.

Re: Portable Shooting Bench
I made my shooting bench and have been very pleased with it. I got the plans from this youtube video and since my son and I are both south paws, it was easier to build one to fit our needs. We used the cheaper set of legs in this video and it works fine. I think after building it and putting a couple of coats of stain on it I ended up having about $80 in it.
