looking for a gunsmith to do a full auto trigger job in south miss or al.
I have had a stemple 76/45 for a few months now that has a TERRIBLE trigger pull (like 50 pounds)
and I am looking for a gunsmith (south mississippi or alabama) with experience on a stemple to get the pull down to at least 10 pounds. this is an open bolt shooter in .45acp.

anybody?????

You dont want a light trigger on an open bolt ever. I would say that 50 lbs is a bit on the heavy side though. I dont know anyone in MS that specializes in class 3 gear, but this should not be to difficult. I would try and find another parts kit and see if that fixed you may just have a trigger kit that is way to heavy.

Yep, Goober is the man down here. A little off the beaten path, but great guy to deal with.

Again, thanks for turning me on to Mike Smith @ Smith's Speed Shop in Purvis, just south of Hattiesburg. I dropped my stemple off with him last week and was amazed at the amount of full auto knowledge he had. plus it was a really nice drive there too! (not to mention he is a nice guy!)

....no problem. He is a helluva guy. He will drop whatever hes doing in his shop to visit with customers.....which may be why sometimes he gets a little back logged. I dont mind though. I will be driving up there this week myself to drop off a couple guns for service.....
