7mm mag load info
My buddy just got a browning 7mag on a trade.
He wants to try his hand at some long range shooting fun with me.
Goin tomorrow to get some dies and stuff.
What bullet/grain and what powder are you guys having good luck with?
Figured we could give a 175gr SMK a try and go from there. Maybe some 142gr Amax too.

Nonnie
I found that my Encore sorta likes the Hornady 154 gr. SST. with 54 grs. of AA 4350. I am using CCI standard LR primers.
Of course most rifles like differend bullets, powder etc, but I will be using this Sat. AM.
Good luck on your quest.

Try to match your bullet weight to what is appropriate for the rifling twist rate in that barrel. I've had good luck with RL 22 and H4831.

Nonnie did you get an 1885? I have an 1885 in 7 mag and need some good data something awful. I have started some 160 grain Sierras but have not shot any yet.

Never seen a 7 mag that wouldn't shoot 65 grains of Reloader 22 with the 150 grain noserl b-tips. Load them to .015 off lands or 3.290. Shoot the cheaper b-tips for fun and then switch to the Scirocco's when hunting.
