Permit question??

Post by micahbxd40 on Tue Nov 15, 2011 1:20 pm

I travel to AL. FL. GA. TN. LA. TX.
I want to be able to carry a handgun in the console of my truck in these states.
Will the MS. permit make this legal ?

How many states honor our permit?

Yes, but check local laws on magazine capacity. For example, while SC does not recognize our permits, you can have it loaded but in the LOCKED glove box. I asked about magazine capacity, since either of my carry guns are considered high-cap. The answer I got was that the mags can be high cap, as long as they have not been altered in any way. This can be construed so that the +2 floorplates (for example) would make an otherwise legal hi-cap magazine illegal.

Mr. Bowser, You can add Iowa to that list as well. When they finally be came and enlightened shall issue state in January of this year they took the Missouri attitude and recognize any permits from out of state as long as you are not an Iowa resident. And its about da** time.
