Tikka T3 7mm 08
Just aquired a new Tikka T3 in 7mm 08. This gun is made by Sako of Finland. They guarantee moa @ 100 yards. Has free floated hammer forged barrel, adjustable trigger. Has anyone had any experince with these guns?

At work we have a Sako in 300 WSSM. It feels solid and quality built. The price is up there for a hunting rifle but I have no doubt it is worth it.

Also- Barnard, who makes one of the best precision rifle actions out there (~$1200 for the action), uses the Sako extractor system.

We did some Duracoat work on a T3 in 308 for a customer a while back. I was VERY impressed with the quality of the rifle. I haven't had an opportunity to shoot one but it seems to be put together right. It's a whole lot of rifle for the money.

A local dealer had a lefty Sako in '06 a couple of years ago that I probably would've bought if I hadn't just bought an A-bolt in the same configuration.
I studied it closely and was favorably impressed. The only hesitation I would've had was the fact that it was a little light for a full power long-action cartridge like '06. I'll bet the short action calibers in that rifle are the cat's behind.

Thanks for everyone replying to this as my knowledge on this rifle is limited. I aquired this gun and probaly will sell or trade it as I have no use for it at this time. It's a nice one for sure.
Thanks again,

I have a t3 308 Varmint. Best rifle I have ever owned. Shoots .5 moa with hornady factory match ammo or Sierra 168 gr with varget. I can not speak highly enough about this rifle
