More Gun Control Enforcement and a story on one woman who wants even more.

So the Senate debated on the "Fix the Gun Check Act" yesterday. I figure since the Democrats control the Senate, they will eventually pass it and the President will sign it. Its not in violation of HIPAA. I took a look at the Gov. website on that and that law is as worthless as the people who wrote it. They may think this is a good thing, but how long until some anti gun nut decides that people with certain physical disabilities cannot safely handle a gun?

On another note, womans son commits suicide on a range with a rented gun, now she wants background checks before you can rent a gun.

"I'm going to use my pain to help other people because there's a lot of people out here that don't realize what's going on with their children," said Kimberly Gocha-Maynard.

Even she knows where the problem is and it isn't with guns.

Some worry (correctly) that it would deter folks from getting mental help.

Really, all they want is to prevent sales of guns between individuals.

Once the government is the ONLY authorized seller (by virtue of mandatory background checks) of guns, there soon will not be any gun sales.

What amazes me is this: way more folks are killed every year by vehicles in the US but there is no move to limit who can buy or drive a vehicle (other than the driver's license which is no assurance that the person will drive safely).

I read through the news article and substituted "motor vehicle" for "firearm" and it actually sounds more reasonable.

Since the Dimwit Dems don't control the House, I doubt any such nonsense
will reach Obamination unless the Republicans lose the House next November
but the last i hear when you ignore the media majority of rabble rousing anti
gunners, that their hold on even the Senate is in serious doubt. Whatever they
do I sure hope that the useless obstructionist in chief, Hawwy Weed gets tossed
out on his behind, I'm still convinced that he and his supporters and out of state big money donors and the stealth Acorn crowd stole that Nevada seat
last year.
