sizing a jacketed bullet??
ok i been reloading since i was little fella and have never heard of having to resize a jacketed bullet untill i started looking for 50bmg bullets!! Aparently when they pull the bullet it leaves marks.. my question is can i just get a star die cut for .510 and run them through my star??? or is there a actual jacketed bullet sizer machine?

I would think you would need to mount that die on a strong press (ie: Rockchucker). Maybe even spray the bullets with case lube before sizing.

I size .224 bullets down to .221 using a custom lee cast bullet sizer die. Just lube them with case lube like rifle brass and run them through the die. I use them in 5.45x39 loads.
