Hunting memories

Post by rdj94a on Wed Nov 16, 2011 8:30 am

I have been looking for a particular model shotgun for 30 plus years. My grandfather owned a 16 ga early model 870 with the round grooved forearm, I took alot of game with this growing up. I finally found one and got it yesterday. It was like finding an old friend. Many happy memories that I hopefully will pass to my grandson. I was also lucky enough to find two full boxes of Peters 16 ga to go with it. Morale of the story never give up, it's out there somewhere!!!

Neat story.

Remember the old Peters ads with the black Lab with a box of shells in his mouth?

That's been a day or two ago.

Very Happy

Kind of surprising how quickly I found this in an image search on Google under "Peters shotgun shells". From back in the early 80's if I recall correctly.

Very Happy
