Full Auto...I want more

Post by Rebel Rifle Ordnance on Sat Nov 19, 2011 6:48 pm

I've just picked up my M/11 SWD last week. I really had no clue what I was getting into. I love guns, all guns. However, this gun has pushed me over the edge. I've entered into some kind of paradigm shift, I WANT MORE FULL AUTO!!!! This is so freaking fun and very, very cool. So many guns, so little time (and money)....

Going to SMG is like going to crack!! Everyday after work I go outside to my berm and rip a mag. It's so much freakin fun, I can't get enough. My wife is getting used to the sporadic full auto bursts. She thinks she is married to a maniac.

Davy, glad to hear you got your MAX-11 running "like a clock"....

Just wait until you spend some time with another FA owner and realize how much ammo you just burned up........... Smile As you know, it doesn't take long.

Welcome to the World of FULL-AUTO........ Smile

It's a sickness. At all started so innocently. One 20 round burst on a 1918 BAR and I was hooked. It's gotten so bad now the m-2 doesn't do it for me anymore. If I had 45k I am sure there would be a mini gun parked at the shop.

DR... we need to invite Davy up so we both can shoot MaDuce. It will be the first time for both us "M2 Virgins".............. Smile

Oh yeah, when Davy runs a belt in the 1919 and a mag or 2 in the 1918, his bank account balance will take a NOSE DIVE........... The M16 will just make his bank account go in the RED...... Smile

It is a sickness. I just pulled the trigger on an M16 converted receiver. It's coming with a belt fed 22 upper Smile

Awesome. Do you mind telling me how much this set you back? I am looking for an M16.

10 even. Consider it an investment, because unless there's a legal change the value is only going to go up, up, up Smile

That is a great price! Where did you find it? I can't seem to find anything less than 15 or 16K.

subguns - when you're ready watch it like a hawk. It's a Sendra Converted Bushmaster, not a "real" M16, but I don't care. Normally these guns go from 12-15. When I saw it posted I called immediately and confirmed the purchase. I beat out 4 other buyers by minutes. When you see a deal and are ready, don't sit still.

A week before this I saw an M16A1 for 11. It looked too good to be true, and probably was. But if not... man, what a deal.

Where do you look for these?

I check these two: http://www.subguns.com/classifieds/?db=nfafirearms&category=All+Items+in+this+Category&query=category&search_and_display_db_button=on&results_format=headlines

Yep, those are the two I use. The "Sendra Corp. M16 XM15E2 5.56MM" on subguns is the one I bought

I would say that's "real" enough for me. Who cares if it doesn't have M16 printed on it. Was it on a Form 3? My understanding is that if it is out of state on Form 4, two tax stamps have to be paid. I am unclear as to how long that will take. 5 months per each transfer? That would be insane.

It's on a Form 4. Typically the seller will pay the first tax, but sometimes they insist on the buyer paying all taxes.

I'm figuring 2 months for the Form 3, 4 months for the Form 4. Form 3's tend to go faster, but who knows? My last Form 3 took 6 weeks. The one before it took 3 months.
