Xavier shotgun 12 ga

I have an old Xavier black power shotgun with rabbit ears and I was wondering how much one of these guns are worth. Any ideas? The gun is so old these is no ser# on it either.

There's an old guy that I run into at the Louisiana gun shows (NO and Slidell) who's something of an authority on old double barrels. If I recall correctly his name is Don Hogan.

There were many firearms manufacturer's around the turn of the last century and unless it's a famous maker I think all of them are about on the same level. Sometimes people get tripped up when they see Remington on the barrel and think it's a Remington product. They are only half right, Remington sold barrels to other makers in those days.

When you say "black powder" do you mean muzzle loader?
