The "new" Browning T-bolt .22
Has anyone seen or fired one of these since they were reintroduced?
All the stories I've heard about the originals were that they were a very good little rifle "back in the day."
I'm kind of intrigued by it since it's one of the very few left-handed .22's available.

I got to shoot a friend's heavy barrel model, don't know the model number or designation. It was quite accurate, stacked holes on top of one another at around 25 yards, didn't get to shoot it any farther than that. I was not a fan of the bolt operation. It was pretty hard to operate, I'd much prefer a standard bolt action.

I have shot the "Old" style T Bolt, I liked it,was accurate and the bolt worked fine after you got use to it. Don't know much about the new one other than it has a rotary magazine similar to Rugers.

I like the mag better as it fits flat with the bottom of the stock. It takes some getting used to to load though. I don't like the lack of sights and they don't supply mounts. No shop where I've seen t-bolts also had mounts. Altough Bass Pro in Spanish Fort had mounts but no T-bolts. With practice it is a little bit faster than a regular bolt but not much.
The Belgian made models had a removable receiver sight and grooves for scope mounts. It is getting hard to find one that doesn't have a salt cured stock.
