Browning Buckmark camper

Post by Tub Horn on Tue Nov 22, 2011 11:28 am

I have been looking for a place to buy a clip retaining spring for my Buckmark camper. Do any body know where I can find the part.

I'd try Numrich first. You may want to give Browning a call as well.

Might check with Midway, too. They carry a lot of common gun parts, although Numrich should have most anything you need. Should be a cheap item, so shipping will probably cost more than the part. If you talk with the Browning Customer Service Rep nicely, they may send you one for free. Most reputable companies will send out the cheaper parts that tend to wear out for free.

To get reduced shipping from Numrich call 1-866-686-7424, during their business hours only. You go through the touch tone menu like you're going to order and eventually before you talk to a human, a recording says something like "Hold on for an operator or hang up and order online and use the code XXXX for discounted shipping." My shipping ended up being $1.57 - which is better than the $9 they were gunna charge without the coupon.

I called Browning a few years ago and they were nice enough to send me one and a few extras to boot. They even put a few of the rubber buffers in the envelope. Very nice people to deal with back then.
