Browning Xbolt

Post by Tub Horn on Tue Nov 22, 2011 11:34 am

If any of my MS Gun owners are looking for a really solid rifle the Browning X-bolt will need to be considered. My brother bought one last year and that rifle shoots like a dream. We both shot 1 hole groups at 100 yard using Remington Corelokt ammo if you can believe that. This rifle will be my next purchase.

I have the medallion X bolt in .300 WSM caliber, my favorite "out of the box" shooter, very tight grouping using Winchester supreme elite ammo.

A friend of mine bought a youth x-bolt in 7mm-08. That is the lightest rifle I have ever picked up. It would be a dream to carry in the field.
