Link works fine for me but you have to probably click on the first line in the link to get it going but I haven't looked close to see what is on sale yet.

Not too much on sale. I notice even with the sale the Remington R1 is 699, thats the price it is all the time. I did ask the manager last night and he told me they have a 7 day price reduction guarantee on guns. So, if you bought something now that goes on Sale Friday, you get a refund.

Also if you can find a legitimate advertisement for a gun that is a lower price than it is at academy. They will match the price gladly.

Just found out last night that Academy has a no return or exchange policy. I won't ever buy another firearm from them. Didn't find out till after I made the purchase and had a problem and tried to exchange my rifle.

Must not have got the right guys. I bought that shotgun from the one in Academy last week and was told that three times, and the manager, when doing the final check, told me and even said "Sorry, but we are required to tell you that". Should call corporate and complain that they didnt tell you. Since apparently they are required.

Oh yeah, I'm definately calling corporate because the first time they mentioned it is when I asked about exchanging it. I've been looking for two days for a scope mount that hasn't been manufactured yet.

Update: The scope mount has been located, Thank God there is one that fits my rifle after all. It just took spending all morning calling gun shops to find it. I ended up doing last what I should have done first, LOOKED UP THE DEALERS! Bass Pro is a Traditions dealer and they have the mount. It's the same one that fits the Traditions Vortek pistol.

Yeah!
That's why I quit buying from Academy. My wife picked up a box of bullets for me at Academy in Gulfport. And when I looked they were the wrong caliber. I wanted .45ACP FMJ's & she asked the dude behind the counter for help. He handed her .45LC. And when I brought them back to exchange them. I was told "SORRY WE CAN'T EXCHANGE AMMO". I asked for the manager. And he was the one that helped her. After telling him they were the wrong caliber. He said "They will work. They are .45's". censored

After schooling him on the difference between .45ACP & .45LC. He let me swap them out.
But they won't exchange a weapon for no reason. But they will give you the address and phone number to where to send it.

Dads Super Pawn is the only place I know that gives a life time warrenty of weapons they sell. Never used it myself. But they say they will exchange it for a new one if it has legit problems.

Got lucky on that, I believe there is a law that says ammo cant be exchanged (Correct me if I'm wrong). My nephew bought me two boxes of 9MM for Christmas last year from Walmart, I don't own a 9MM, so I took them back and they wouldn't exchange them I believe they told me it was against the law for them to do so.

There is a law against and for good reason. While we all know none of us would do anything to them, that's not always the case. I would hate to buy some ammo that someone could have "doctored". I had the same thing happen just 2 weeks ago with ammo at wallyworld, wife picked up the wrong caliber. But hey I'll use them.
