+1 on the H&R. my dad has one in the 9 shot revolver. it is nice. And I know everyone thinks Heritage Arms is junk they go on sale at academy this time of year for $99 normal price is $150 but I'm bottle cap at 15 yards accurate with it and its got plenty of snake heads on it. I've only owned it 2 years and have 15 snakes with it.

Yeah, I had a 9 shot H&R (stolen). Think it broke open like a Schofield for quick reloading. Can't remember how well it shot though, didn't own it long enough. I do remember it was well made.

here ya go Sid:

H&R 999 Sportsman. I really enjoy this gun. If you can find one in good shape, it will probably cost a pretty penny, but they're worth it IMO.

So it was you! Nah, mine had plastic grips but other than that, just what I had. I'd be H___ on wheels with some HKS speedloaders.

Re: 22 Revolver
Man! I checked the gun show in Jackson yesterday. Seems like a .22 double action revolver is rare! I'm looking for one to use in teaching kids trigger control. There were a very few on the tables, but ragged out. There are plenty of single action .22s, but few double action revolvers!

I know they do seem to be rare. I am stuck on getting the double action though. I will keep looking. Thanks for all the great info as always guys.
