Went this morning, saw a couple good deals @ Mike Smiths table's. Some police dept trade-ins @ another, besides that over priced. Just touched a speedmaster plain stock price 400$ 75% finish etc. bought one from Randy's earlier in the year for 225$. Saw a couple 454's RSR's for 750 & 800 used kinda steep, over all over priced crowded rude people talking in the lines holding up everyone else, want be back, just my opinion.

Having also gone this morning to the gun show, I agree. Same old, same old: old beat-down guns for full new price (or higher), if there was a bargain there it was well hidden! Was nice to go though, don't get to go to them often so was good for getting out of the house.

I thought it was a pretty good show, yesterday. I wasn't there all day, got there around noon. But the crowd was good. Saw several dealers selling items! I ended up with a really nice East German Makarov. There's a FN SCAR Heavy down there. I saw a nice socom II down there. It's worth the drive. I'll be back there today.

Picked up a nice matching numbers hex Mosin from Caleb today. Was very nice to meet him and his guys, that's a great group of folks and a pleasure to do business with.
Also picked up a Enfield No.4 Mk1 U.S. Property made by Savage.
Other than that saw a few good prices and alot of the same old stuff, with the same old prices.

Thanks, Walkiagunman. We sure appreciate the business. Thanks to all of the MSGO folks who stopped by. It's nice to meet ya'll and talk guns for a while.
I also saw the SCAR in 308. It was the strangest thing. When I picked it up this bright light shined down from the sky and angels starting singing. I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. Then the rifle whispered in my ear. "Take me home. We should be together." Weird.

CalebC, I have a SCAR 17S on my bucket list. It is awesome to shoot.
I went and picked up another 91/30 matching numbers from the BunkerHill guys too. I also looked at a Lefthanded Wingmaster 870 I probably should have bought.

Another Mosin buyer from the BH boys here.
I looked at that lefty 870 myself and was sorely tempted.
Friend I was with scored a decent-looking 1917 Enfield. Guy had $525 on it but was immediately off to $475. Wood was a little dry and it was missing the stacking swivel and screw, but other than that didn't seem to have any bugs about it. Friend took it out today and shot it and said it shoots great and has a better-than-expected trigger. He REALLY got a good deal on it considering his cost in it. He traded the guy a 10 oz. bar of silver and a $100 bill. That was about $440 at current prices, but here's the kicker......my friend has been into silver since it was still in the single digits and was only into that 10 oz. bar for about $80. So basically he got the 1917 for $180 in terms of his cost.
