Palmetto State Armory Lower

Post by dhollis51 on Sat Nov 26, 2011 7:00 pm

They have there lowers on sale for $49, question is are they all the same just different materials? I want 1 to build a rifle for the high power matches and figure I could save some $$$$ where I can or is there something better for match grade rifles?

Thanks
DH

Man that is a good price. Add that to a 450.00 kit and you have an AR for 500 plus tax/shipping!

Don't really know, only what I read online and never read anything bad about PSA lowers. I'm going to get one to build a 6.8 rifle.

I've got a few of them on 14, 16, and 20 barrels in 556 and 300blk. No issues at all and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more. The ones with the pictogram instead of "fire/safe" have a lower deck if you were to get something like a rdias at some point.

I ordered 4 just because.

Never seen a single bad complaint about them and for $50 a pop it's just hard to argue with.

Holler at Mr Clean about the transfer. It's hard to argue with his transfer prices

hahaha i've already found a couple folks wanting to buy a couple off of me so that'll leave me one to play with and one to put up for the time being. thinking of building a dedicated .22, and the spare might turn into a SBR in the future.

this upper would make a great match for the price! No BCG or charging handle, but for that price you can afford a nicer BCG and charging handle. plus I've got a couple charging handles laying around to use anyway.
http://www.dsarms.com/DSA-ZM4-A3-Upper-Receiver-16-Barrel-Mid-Length-HG---DSZM4CBUMID/productinfo/DSZM4CBUMID/

that'd be $57(+transfer fee)+~$60 for a LPK+$265 for the upper+$100 or so for a decent BCG+$20 or so for a charging handle=right around $500 total.

I know jack about DSA's AR parts, but I know their FALs are supposed to be first rate, so I would expect the same of their AR stuff.

of course I'm really turning into a fan of the magpul furniture, so i'd have to add in another $100 or so for a magpul set from brownells depending on which set

Have 3 on the way for me. thumbs up well... one goes to my brother but that still counts cause it's "in the family". ha

After reading some reviews from various sources I feel pretty confident in them. Although I didn't order any LPK's from them, several sources said they were extremely happy with those as well. Compared to Stag and RRA parts and superior to DPMS (which I don't touch anymore).

I've heard the same thing about Aero, and if that is the case I would definitely expect high quality!

.308 Winchester uppers or lowers will not mix with .223 lowers or uppers.
