Just passing along the meat and potatoes of an email I received from Sarco - they're having a bayonet sale - e-sarcoinc.com. I know less than zip about bayo's, so the prices mean nothing to me -

10" SPRINGFIELD & GARAND BAYONETS

We have started sorting our Garand bayonet buy as promised. We can now offer most variations of the WWII 10" blade original Garand bayonet & scabbard. All are specially selected. When we entered WWII, we needed more 1905 16" inch bayonets as there were not enough serviceable bayonets left over from the original production. They were only produced a few years before it was determined that a 10 inch bayonet was more suited for modern warfare. Contracts were issued for a new 10 inch bayonet the M1. Many 1905 bayonets were reworked into 10" bayonets by cutting them down They are know as a1905E1. Brown grips are fairly scarce and they were only used for some 16'' 1905 bayonets made in the 40's. The black grip is much more common. They were used on both the 1905 16" bayonets made in the 40's as well as the later 10 inch M1 bayonets. Wood grips were used on the original 1905 WWI production. As you can imagine bayonets going in for repair could be outfitted with any variation of serviceable grip So finding original issue examples is nearly impossible. Looks like they have a good assortment ... actually a pretty good price ... can still get them from CMP for $65.00 w/scabbard. However, CMP no longer has the selection offered above ....

Would almost bet the farm that they are Greek returns.
