Old Ammo disposal

Post by cwink on Mon Nov 28, 2011 2:41 pm

How do you get rid of old ammo.. While cleaning out my uncles house I took a bunch of old ammo out of there.. some for calibers that I don't have others are just to old for me to feel safe using..

When I cleaned out my Dad's I found ammo expanded and in bad shape. I carried it to The Ridgeland police station and they took it.

Break it down for the components ... how much we talking about -- a few rounds are 100s?

Probably a couple hundred.. Lots of rimfire and old paper 12 guage shells, I even got some 30-06 Garand clips.

If you wish to part with them - I will gladly take them off your hands ...

Here is what I think is the Garand Clips
Captian - They are yours if you want them.. I have 6 of them.

Let me sort through them and get them into the same caliber bins thumbs up then I will put them on pay it forward.. If your looking for anything specific holler at me.. I do know that I have some 32-20 stuff about a box or so that I can't use and about a half box of 260 Rem
