Tri State G&K show

Post by p moore on Mon Nov 28, 2011 4:39 pm

Just a heads up. The Tri State Gun and Knife Show will be this weekend in Tupelo.

I will go and look, not holding high hopes. Good excuse to run by Horbor Freight though.

I am setting up there this weekend, got a feeling I should be heading to the coast though?

We shall see.

I should be there Friday after lunch. Let me know where you are set up, and I will come by and see if I can't give you some money.

We should be there around lunch time to get set up on Friday. Business name is Brandon Sporting Arms.
As far as what I am selling. I am 99% new guns 85% handguns.
I have a little bit of just about everything I hope. I did not do myself any favors by looking over inventory since the Natchez show. I pretty much made a blind re-stocking order and said a prayer that I got it close to right.

I am beating myself in the head for not going to the coast, its closer and my last Tupelo show was not real good for the bottom line.

Hope to see some of you there.

Keep your eyes open, I will be the one looking for a 308.

Maybe I will make myself a MSGO tag as well.

How's the show?

I'm making the trip this morning. I'm bringing my xD(M)9 and possibly a Kel-Tec P32. There's alot of things I'd like to have, I'm just not sure I want to part with these.

Things on my wish list:

4-5" .357 Magnum
.44 Magnum to hunt with
.223 bolt gun- Savage or Remington
Glock 26
Kel-Tec Sub 2000 9mm- Glock Mags

I wasn't broken hearted, but a little let down. I still enjoyed looking the place over.

I didn't see a whole lot that impressed me either.

My wife, on the other hand, fell in love with one of the AR style 22 rifles, at biscuitnt's setup. Looks like I have two rifles to buy now. Bye bye x-mas bonus.

What better could you spend a bonus on than guns?

I got there around 2PM, and was turned away. They did not really open till 5, and I could not wait that long. Oh well, I came home and put one on layaway.

It was not a real good show. Turn-out was fair but with the economy as it is, not a lot of money changing hands last weekend.
I think I was the only dealer there with "new" firearms for the most part. All of my competition went to Biloxi and I feel I should have as well and dealt with the competitive issues.

In the end though, It was nice to meet a few "msgunowners" members and chat a few minutes.

We will be in Jackson this weekend at the Trade Mart building.
