For the price of a Taurus you really could just buy a smith for $20-30 more, in either the 642 or 442 models. They can be had for $330-375 on a bad day. I went through the same snub hunt a whole back and realized for $20 more than the .38 smith I could get a .357 Ruger LCR.....haven't looked back.
BUT, Taurus revos are good guns, but their triggers tend to leave something to be desired

If you replace the trigger spring (I believe that's the one) it will give you a lighter and better trigger on the Taurus. Wolf springs makes them.
I like my Taurus and where I live you want walk into any gun store and pay just 20.00 more for a Smith. It's more like $100.
But online you can get them pretty close.
I have the Taurus m85UL actually 2 of them and a S&W m60 Prefer the Taurus because the sights are thicker and easier for me to see. But nothing wrong with the S&W need to get a laser grip for it.
