Range53: Overall Mission

Range53 began with the simple wish of five hunters that they had a
place to go and shoot in a safe environment. These five local
businessmen then saw the need for safety education as well as the need
for an all encompasing facility. Now, Range53 is a world class premier
shooting club offering an array of options and amenities to the discerning
marksman or the novice shooter. With a focus on education, Range53
will offer classes for those in both novice and advanced shooting skills.
In addition to the superb shooting facilities, Range53 will be a
full-service family resort offering a restaurant, pool, tennis courts and so
much more.

You get 2 guns/bows at cost per year, what more could you ask for?

Your right about the back rub

Yeah, I thought $200 was high! The way things are looking I don't think they are going to get enough people that can afford those kind of fees in South MS. Shocked

Uppity club it sounds like to me. I'll pass. If they have some competition open to public, I would go at least once to check it out.
The State has some land set aside East of Wiggins for a State facility from what I've heard, but not much info from State at this time.

They won't let us hillbillies in haha. We aren't shooting SxS weatherby's. About that state range.....Their membership is supposed to be $25. That is great and all but just think of the type of people they are going to attract? I don't think they will be all that quality. I am a member of woolmarket and I have to say the $200 was worth it, now if they raise it we will see if I stay. But with that $200 price they filter out some trash. Just sayin.

This is so much BS! Have yall noticed that for only $595 all you get is a regular range and playground? Every one of the high dollar ammenities is COMING SOON! I really don't see 5 businesmen building some with more to offer than a Frickin casino. Which 5 men have this kind of capital to build a gun resort?

WOW...that is a LOT. I go to the pascagoula shooting club www.pascagouladcm.com which is a 1,000 yard military style range with all the toys and is only $75 a year (or $100 if you dont volunteer for a work day). can't see paying six times that much just for an indoor range.

That's a lot of money for memberships..even at their "discounted" rates for LEOs. Think they're tryin' to make a high class facility to attract national matches? I'd like to check the place out when it's all built.

I love the virtual range idea, mostly because my favorite thing about shooting is not actually shooting.
