Get home tonight and get all excited.....a brand new Ed Brown 1911 catalog had arrived in the mail. I got all my chores done and felt natural calling, so off I head to the throne.......what, where is it????? Needless to say, I put things on hold to search it out......15 minutes later, I'm digging through the trash can. I was successful in retrieving it, and now I'm really on a mission....

As a teenager my mother used to find mine and toss it, but once I turned 18 and
went to college she took to tossing my back issues of Shooting Times, the ones

I can relate, bro.

When I left for college my walk-in closet in my bedroom had a substantial stash of gun mags and catalogs and such. When I came home at Thanksgiving that year I discovered they had all gone "bye-bye".

All my old issues of Guns and Ammo, Soldier of Fortune, Gung Ho, etc. were swept into the trash bin of history.

I understand those old issues of Gung Ho are collector's items now.

Too bad, so sad.......
