I'm am also curious - looking at one of their lightweight uppers, $379 complete to put on a Plum Crazy lower for a lightweight carbine. Anyone got experience with the Palmetto State uppers / rifles?

I'll let you know in a week, ordered the $379 upper for $359 last weekend and hopefully it will be here next week. Aslo its going on a plum crazy lower.

Your more than welcome to try it out before you order one.

I've got a few of their uppers and lowers and have helped friends assemble 3. Zero problems. People with Noveske's don't "ooh and ahhh" over them. But the fit and finish is as good as the Spikes and BCM that I've had.
Anyone in the NW MS area that wants to check one out, let me know.

PSA makes good stuff. The 16" upper will do fine on yotes try to get 1/7 twist if you can it stabilizes the heavier pill better than 1/9 but both twist rates will work. I shoot the 55 gr TSX in my 1/9 upper with great success my 1/7 upper likes the 70 gr TTSX.

It is an excellent choice for your first, second are third for that matter you'll be happy and PSA has very good CS if you happen to have any problems.

Yes, they call it a M4 because of the barrel profile and M203 cut out.
