Re: Palmetto AR?
Me and Nonnie shot it Christmas eve and had a few jam ups other than that thats it. Using P-mags and everything was brand new. Gonna give it a good wipe down and try again with some c-mags. When I emptied the mag it ran flawless just when I shot slow is when the jam ups occured

When you say jam -- what do you mean? Was it extracting the spent round? Would the next round not fully chamber? etc ...

Also curious.
My first PSA build would occasionally FTE. That cleared up after a few mags. Out of the 6 or so PSA's that I've put together only that one did it. Never did figure out why.

Would not feed right. It would eject fine but the bolt would close before the next round could get in line with the bolt, so it might be a mag problem. All had 2 different mags both P-mags and it happened with both. But like I said when we shot as fast as we could it ran fine, and I am learning as I go with The AR, this is my 1st one.
Capt im gonna try the C-product mags you gave me from Ralph this werk at camp.

The reason I waited so long to buy an AR????? is because I just ordered 2 stripped lowers and now have to build 2 of them. This is gonna cost me a ton. gonna have to wait to jump into the 1911 world for a few more years.
I know what I am going to do with one of them (20" match rifle) the other one I have no clue.

Man I am in the same boat (kinda). Had a little money and was thinking about joining the 1911 gang, but decided to go with an AR instead. Ordered a Spikes stripped lower from AIM a few weeks ago, just ordered my PSA midlength upper today. I'm joining the AR club instead.

Well I have the money to get one now
And there out of stock and I can't get in touch with them to see when they will be available.
O well time to wait I guess.

Sounds like you need to just build one from Palmetto Parts. I bet you can find someone to help you.

I would love to but this is my first one and I don't know anybody that's familiar with them.

I shot my AR again this weekend and it ran great with the C-product mags and hung up twice with the P-mags. so guess it is the Mags and not the rifle. So I ordered some more of those mags and will just keep the P's for shtf

like with all guns, sometimes a certain gun just doesn't like some brands of mags. i've never heard of an AR not liking Pmags though.....first time for everything though! I use c-products more anyway because you can get them for $7 on up to $30 if you just dont want to shop around. for the price they're hard to beat

yea I have heard nothing but great reviews for the p-mags and that is why I bought some black friday when they were on sale but like the $7 mags better now due to price and that they worked better.
