Ruger no.1-h tropical rifle .404 Jeffery

About 12 to 15 years ago, I was lucky enough to buy a no 1 in 404 on a saturday, the next day another dealer offer me 200.00 more than I paid for it and I sold it. I think I got $500.00 for it. About 5 years later I looked them up and found out they were rare(mfg. 1993 to 1995) and I saw what they were bringing. I saw a few on the internet a couple of times. Today I walked outside before the Biloxi show open and saw a man with two no.1's with very large bbls. I did not ask what he had in line( I did not feel it was right to do so). So when he made it to my friend table I asked him what he had. He said 404 Jeffery and 416 Rigby. I quickly came up with a price in my head of what I would pay for the 404 and when he told me I paid him for it. I was told there was only about 300 to 500 made. And for me to have own two differnet ones is odd. But it happens. The pictures do not do this gun justice.

I will post better pictures tomorrow. Another friend of mine got a no.1 from the same guy in 45-120. It is a heck of a gun. I have never seen any thing like it before.
