Well out of the 4 I've done so far I couldn't get the coating to chip or scratch it will just kinda leave a mark. The issue is where the pin rides along the face, it's chipped on me once there. As long as you let it cure for the full time and maybe bake it for a little while it helps.

Can you coat internals like bolt assembly on AR platforms?

I'm sure I could but with tight tolerances like that I don't think it would hold up as well. I could do just the part that shows haha.
