SHOOTING THE DOTS

I’ve done four postings, I think, touching on this Shooting the Dots drill. The most recent was 9/7/11, “Shooting The Dots And The Mousegun” (see at: http://www.msgunowners.com/t5417p80-my-new-mousegun#177898)

There is an article on the USCCA website, “Focus on the Basics”, by Greg Ellifritz. The article begins, “One of the drills we use at the Tactical Defense Institute with beginning-level students is what we call Dot Drills.” Ellifritz writes that these Dot Drills work on your smooth presentation, sight alignment and trigger management.

Perhaps I’m not whistlin’ in the wind so bad with these drills I’ve posted.

You should be able to (at least I’m pretty sure you can) access this article at:
https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/ccm-departments/drill-of-the-month/focus-on-the-basics/

The cited webpage says that Greg Ellifritz is a police tactical training officer and staff instructor at the Tactical Defense Institute (www.TDIOhio.com), a shooting school in southern Ohio.
