I had one. It was a little big for some pants, like jeans. I went down to the P32. Thinking about stepping back up though.

Yea the way I was worried about this fitting in my jean pocket but I always wear carpenter style or cargo so it works pretty good for a small 9mm.

Re: New everyday/everywhere carry....
Nice! The PF9 is absolutely the best Saturday Night Special ever produced. Please don't take that a derogatory, because I just bought one, too. I've had them all and none compared to the PF9.
Abusive as heck, but if you go into it with the right frame of mind, you'll wind up loving the gun. It's not a range queen and you shouldn't consider it one. Practice every time you go, but limit your shooting to 20 rounds or so. After that, everything seems to go down hill quickly, at least for me. Between the shaking and the flinch anticipation, I've found that more than 20 or 25 rounds is a pure waste of time.
Might want to look into a good grip sleeve, too, because they are a little snappy. I like the way the Hogue Handall Jr fits, but there are several options. I'd like to try the Limbsaver, mostly because it has a backstrap pad and that's where I get the most abuse, but I went with the Hogue, simply because it was half the price and I already knew it'd work OK. However, I plan to try and do something about the backstrap. If I find anything viable, I'll certainly pass it along. I'm thinking of trying to use something like weatherstripping, but I'm not sure how well it will stay in place.
I also bought a Twisted Industries .22 conversion kit for mine and I'm hoping for good results. Figure on shooting a couple of hundred rounds of .22LR per range trip and finishing off with about 20 rounds of 9mm. Hopefully, I'll have mine broken in during the next 6 months or so.
At any rate, these guns, along with Keltek's other offerings are much better guns than most would think. I shot somewhere around a thousand rounds through my last one without the first glitch and it showed absolutely no notable wear. Not quite sure how I endured that much punishment, but the gun was bulletproof. I would have staked my life on it.
Enjoy yours and shoot it like you stole it.
For carry, I don't believe you can spend your money any better. These guns are fairly cheap, but they're also pretty darned competent and the company is first class. If you should experience any problems with yours, I can guarantee you that they will address it without it costing you another dime. Give me one over a .380 any day.

Is there any kind of safety on these pistols, or is the DOA trigger pull so stiff there's no problem with keeping one chambered?

The trigger pull is long, but they are not bad or extremely heavy.

I paid $290 out the door at Grenada Gold-n-Gun. It does have a long trigger pull but no manual safety. As a general rule I feel pretty safe with a handgun without a manual safety as long as the trigger/trigger guard are completely covered by the holster.
