CLEO requirement eliminated for Forms 1 and 4

No longer into NFA collecting but thought this would be interesting to many on the list:

Looks like the CLEO will be taken out of the process for approval. I never had a problem but understand in some progressive jurisdictions all were denied.

This is awesome, but I am afraid what it may do to the already increasing approval times. Maybe the increase in $$ will push for an increase in examiners?

Probably 95 % of folks been going the Trust route and they knew it...

I have read on another forum about several being sent in with that box crossed out and the forms have gone pending

I just submitted a Form 4 this weekend for a new can and the LEO sign off was still on the form my dealer sent me.
