Removing a Barrel from a Savage Model 93

I posted in another place and it may have been wrong, please forgive me.


I have a question that I would greatly appreciate some help with. Has anyone removed a barrel on a Savage model 93? It does not have provisions for a barrel tool like the 110. I am assuming that it is threaded but I would rather have some advice from someone with the experience of prior removal.

Pinned and slip fit. Might take a little heat to remove it from the receiver though.
