Vanishing powder...

Well today was my first time loading rifle on my dillon... I swear my hopper was leaking or something ! I never seen a lb of powder go that fast !!! I would hate to load my 338 or one of my big weatherbys on here

Yeah those rifle loads eat powder pretty fast.

Yeah...... it sucks to only get 150 to 250rds per pound. But that is life......... Smile

My IMR 4895 seems to disappear too. Those .308, .30-06, .303, and 7.65 Argentine cases can sure eat a lot of powder in a hurry. IDK holy sheep lol

lol i just found a load using trailboss which i have a ton of! start load is 10 gr and max is 14 lol if it generates enough pressure to cycle the action i know what powder im gonna be using.

Yep, that's what Captain uses. Been thinking of using some in a few loads with 120 gr. lead boolits for the old M-1 Carbine. Smile
