Got my Twisted Industries .22 conversion kit today:)
Sorry, I realize this post is kinda worthless without pictures, but I don't have any and my camera is out of pocket at the moment, however, if this thing works, I know I'm gonna like it. Ordered what they call Coyote Tan Ceracote and wasn't sure if it would match my gun that's what they call Desert Tan Cerecote or not, but I really can't tell any difference. Not a very good test and I won't be able to make it to the range this week, but it checks out functionally here in my livingroom just fine. Got a box of CCI minimags just waiting to be shot and I'm like a kid at Christmas over this thing. It sure makes the PF9 a totally different gun. This slide and barrel feel like they weigh half of what the 9mm setup does. Even the mags add up to about half, loaded. Feels sorta toylike, but it seems to be a serious piece of machinery. The machining and finish are better than KelTeks. The guys who make these say they've finally found the sweet spot. I sure hope they're right, because this thing wouldn't be a half bad carry gun, as light as it is, if it proves reliable. You barely notice the PF9 in your pocket, but this feels rediculously light, however the barrel is almost thick enough to call a bull barrel. I'll give a range report on it as soon as I get a chance.
