What do you guys use for deer?
And while we're at it what about your long range 308 projectile?

I ain't rich enough to afford Bergers but I hear they are nice. I use 175gr Sierra Match King in 308 and 200gr hornady sp in 35.

Just shot a match with 168 Speer Target Match in my M1A. They performed better than I did at 600 yards.

Nosler Ballistic tip 150 gr in 308 is my go to for hunting in general

DRT on deer

also like Barnes TSX's....have also been DRT

In my 35's aint been too impressed with Hornady Superformance 225's accuracy wise

pretty much anything you can hit with the big ole 35 is smoked at hunting distances

Thanks. Gonna check on some Nosler's for sure and a few others to start with.
But first I gotta insulate, put up some type of walling, energize and heat and cool the shed. Then build a bench and storage for the goodies.
I may never get that suppressor. pull hair

SMK's are good. I'm trying the Bergers right now in my DPR .308.

Don't forget Hornady A-Max's either.

1-10 twist 20" barrel on this one.
Next one will probably be 24" but may go with a 300 RSAUM.

I'm a big fan if the Hornady 150gr SST in 308. I'm not sure how it would fair in competition but I've picked off deer that were in a big hurry at 200+ yards with it.

Shot a deer last year with a hand loaded 35 SST.
DRT!

Shot a deer the other day with a 180gr 338 Nosler Accubond. That's a bad mug too.

I've been using the 250 Hornady sp for the 35. Push it a little heavy and go pick your deer up right there.
