My buddy wanted to video the rifle to see how his new iphone4s would pickup the audio.
First video is my full power 175gr SMK load shootin steel gong at 400yds.
Second video is Subsonic 210gr SMK shootin paper at 100yds. Can hear it hit the paper.

Like how you can hear the bullet flying through the air with the 175's. Very quiet.

Very nice,
Since I just got two 308s this year my goal for next year is getting my paperwork done & getting suppressed.

I think that is a Quick Disconnect Yankee Hill phantom 7.62. That can is a little heavy but built like a tank. Good for full auto fun as well as any of the big .30 cal's like the short mag and the ultra mag.

Thanks for posting that. I'm about a month into the wait for an AAC 762-SD and am thinking about picking up a factory threaded Remington 700.

Re: Suppressed 308
Yea JB, thats the land where we killed majority of the hogs. But now the cotton and corn Is plowed down.
I meant to put it in the first post. Doh.
Rifle is a R700 AAC-SD
Suppressor is a Yankee Hill Phantom QD
Suppressor isnt light by any means, but it gets bounced around alot on the 4wheeler and in the truck. The finish is worn off in several places but i cant complain.
If i had to do it over, id go with a AAC or something lighter.

Is it the stainless YHM or the titanium? I've been thinking about one also.

Nonnie is to cheap for titanium. That one is stainless. The TI cans by YHM are really nice. I fondled a few of them at the silencer shoot. They sound as good or better than the one in the in nonnies video and weigh half as much.

I might can sell enough junk to save up for one.

This. If I decide on the YHM it's definitely going to be the titanium model. I might be ordering it before I get my stamp back on my liberty. You know, a good dealer would send the Feds candy and flowers from time to time to get them to speed up a little...

And they would laugh at you and send your papers to the bottom of the stack.
Atleast that would be my luck.

Not enough weight difference for me to pay that much more.
