Skeet Shooting

Anybody shoot Clay Birds ? If so what type thower do you use and where did you get it ? I love bird hunting and now the wife has taken a liken to skeet shooting so I WILL find and get a clay bird thower .

Ron,

You could run a trap shooting program at Southwest Gun Club on Sunday after Church. We have 2-3/4 cock do-alls and have been promised a Champion auto trap from a grant this year. I don't need another program to run but I might come out and shoot with you. Call me 601-341-8797.

Doug,

You are the reason she likes it so much !" The Women On Target " got her hooked . I think you should just give me the combination to the lock so I could use the clubs whenever she wanted to bust some birds .

nope, you really DONT want to go to capital gun club and shoot skeet, you'll get addicted and then have to go to rehab andf it will just be a bad thing to do. rotflmao
been there, they got a super set up. my son shot there for a while, was gut hooked.

Doug has about got me talked into running a skeet match at SWGC .

I think it will be fun and close . Hopefully other shooters will want to come out .

my youngest son loves it, he has shot skeet, trap and sporting clays. when hes on hes hard to beat. PULL

I have a really cheap wal mart thrower that's been around over 10 years. If I were to buy another it would be the base model do-all that runs around $140-150. They seem like better machines made to last! Their electrics start around $300 but I have a hard time believing they are worth anything.

I miss quoted or better yet miss stated the clay shoot . It would be a trap shoot and held on Sunday afternoon . Still in the plotting and scheming stage .

Hey Ronnie the club´s throwers are great, I go out there about 1x month and throw targets for der Junge. He will definitely come out when you get that program up & running.
