This Sunday morning Magnolia Rifle And Pistol Club will have the monthly ICORE match:

Set-up - 7:00AM

Shooter's meeting - 8:45

Match Starts - 9AM

Cost- Free for first timers, $15 for match fee, $10 for members of Team Magnolia.

Match: ICORE is somewhat like a USPSA, but not as complicated and is a little more straightforward when it comes to the designs of the courses. Easier to understand, if you will. Still a lot of fun, but perfect for the new shooter.

Equipment: Revolvers with at least 4 speedloaders/moonclips. Sturdy belt and holster that covers the triggerguard. Eye and ear protection and 125 rounds of ammunition.

If you would like to shoot a semi you are welcome to do so. You'll need 4 extra magazines. There is some semi and revolver loaner gear available. PM me for details.

Don't be shy. If you've ever wanted to try your hand at a pistol competition, this is the place to do it. We'll help you get started.

We've been having quite a few new shooters in recent months. Bring a friend!

If you wear the bunny ears I'm there.

I'd bring a friend, but all my friends are the folks on Team Magnolia. Not sure if that is a good thing or not

Nah, I was planning to be there anyway, you can leave the ears at home, unless you are really fond of wearing them, in which case we need to talk

Thanks ! Finally dawned on me to take a picture of a picture to "memorialize" the "bunny hop". Be there Sunday, bright eyed and "bushy tailed" - HA !

Not sure I want to see "bushy tailed"

I wonder if the new local speedster, ssanders will give it a try this weekend?

Don't quote me, but I think there are typically 5 stages. I'd venture to say most if not all of the stages are decided upon and you won't see them until after they are setup Sunday morning.

If you want to know all about the stages in advance be one of the first there Sun. morning and you will learn as you load the trucks.

I'm debating about rocking the big gun for this match, should have enough rounds and mags, just need to see if I have enough mag pouches.

Which one is that,JD?

It's my Springfield 1911 in .45. I should have everything I need, just need to find it in all my mess.
