Think its called Rangemaster in Memphis

Tom Givens is lead Honcho...great instructor...no bull

If you can get to Rangemaster and back without getting shot in the process...its a plus

this is from Rangeusa's site. Go to thier website and see all their street survival school classes

Force-on-Force

Tuition: $125.00
Pre-requisite: SSS– Self-Defense Handgun
REQUIRED Equipment: Strong-side, concealment holster
Magazine/Speedloader holders
Concealment garment
Long sleeve shirt
Pants
Baseball type hat
Gloves that allow you to operate your firearm
Course description: This is the ultimate gun fighting course! We will help you sharpen your skills with special firearms and ammunition to simulate gun fights between you, the other students, and the instructor. Using the draw and fire, move and shoot, cover and conceal skills learned in Self-Defense Handgun you will participate in force-on-force drills. You will make high-speed decisions as we expose you to situations where you must decide to shoot or not. You will see if you made the right decisions, and how accurate you were if you fired. The special ammunition used in the force-on-force drills is included in the tuition.

This is as close to a gunfight as you ever want to be!http://www.rangeusa.com/classes_description_sss.php#27http://www.rangeusa.com/classes_description_sss.php#27

Yeah rangemaster and rangeusa are both GREAT. Tom at RM has more of a national reputation though.

Sounds like a Big Screen simulation...might be fun

Think I'd rather take a 2 day combative pistol at range master -

$400

2 days - 1000 rounds of ammo...lots of trigger time

Rapid presentation from concealed carry
Effective gunhandling techniques, designed to work under stress
Rapid reloading techniques
Movement skills, including effectively engaging targets on the move
Disability drills, including drawing and reloading with one hand
Precision shooting at mid-ranges
Effective scanning techniques, locating additional threats
Low light firing techniques, both with/without a flashlight
Proper defensive mindset and more.

BigMike for what it is worth I took that class a couple of years ago. It is not worth your money. In all honest I think my class was the second class. That is the only class from RangeUSA that I took that I didn't like.

Here is a more recent person opinion that took the class.

Good luck in your decision.

All the other classes that I took from them I really enjoyed. That was the only class that I didn't think was worth the money.

I did take the classes between 2006 and 2008.

Disability drills...drawing and reloading sounds like a hoot

That's stuff requires lots of reps and continual practice

Have fun with it BigMike
