Sadly, there are all to many folks with a CCW that have little or no training and seldom shoot their carry gun, so the test is probably fair.

Set up deal or not one thing doesn't change. If a person walks in a room with a gun and they are the only person in the room with a gun they will kill anybody they want with incredible frequency. I'll take my chances with my gun.

+1. on that g2072. You let a fox in the hen house he'll have chicken for dinner every time. They fail to mention that the shooter gets tunnel vision too. Use cover and keep moving. I really would like some training like that though. USPSA is fun and all but still won't give you real world scenario training. I did paintball for awhile but still didn't have urban scenario all in the woods.

I went to the Highway Patrol today and renewed my liscence. They said You'd be crazy to not have a gun in these days.

Set-Up, B.S. or leftist media bias it still shows just how important training is. The most experienced shooter/student shot just like we do most of the time. He went to the range and shot from a bench or from behind the line in a NO stress situation. Notice I said WE as in I'm part of the "Don't Train Realistically Enough" group.

A buddy and I are planning to reserve one week of vacation time and attend a shooting school. Probably not Gunsite or Front Site, starting in the lower price bracket, but someone who will emphasise the basics of concealed carry deployment and do so in a higher stress training environment than what we are used to.

In the Corps, more than thirty years ago now, we trained a lot and shot a lot. The mantra was, "Train like you fight because you will fight like you train."

So these are cops teaching us that CC is not going to help anyone and that when sugar goes to sh** just wait for us to respond and we'll save you because we are the professionals? Most of the LEO's I know do good just to qualify at the range and none of them get enough training if you ask me and it's almost always because "there's not enough money in the budget for that kind of stuff".
