Enhanced permit training at Surplus City

I called Surplus City and they said a man named Wayne was the one who had the classes there. If anyone knows
Wayne'a last name please post it so I can contact him about a class.

I can be reached at 601-672-7493. I teach just about every week and my next class is next Tuesday, Dec. 27th, 2011. I limit my classes to (10) students per day so I can better manage the inside range activities with (5) students per bay. Would be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Price?

The cost of the course is $75.00 which includes the range fee and (5) targets. I ask that each student bring the pistol they carry, (50) rounds, eye and hearing protection. Additionally I each student to bring additional rounds if they are having any problems. Surplus City has a classroom that we meet in and the indoor range provides uninterrupted shooting regardless of weather conditions. The classes begin at 0900 as soon as Surplus City opens and we generally finish up around 1715-1730.
When I speak with a potential student, I ask them when their regular carry expires. Some are not aware that the enhanced permit expires when their regular carry expires. The enhanced certificates are good from (90) days of the date of issue and for those that are renewing their carry, they can begin the renewal process with MDPS within (90) days of expiration and can also take an enhanced carry course within that same (90) days if they desire uninterrupted enhanced carry.

I am a bit confused, if I had the training in Nov of 2011 and my permit expires in June of 2012 do I have to take the training again. Here is the response from Mississippi department of public safety.

If you attended training from one of our DPS Certified Firearms Instructors back in 2011, your training will be valid for 5 years until 2016.  You can renew your permit by mail.
