Next time I see one I'll post the link on here. They usually don't last long. I think the last one was $750 plus shipping, but it was .308.

The Winchester model 70 was introduced in 1936 - 70 years after the first rifle produced under the name "Winchester", which was 1866.
The model name of Remington doesn't have anything to do with the year of introduction. The 870 was introduced in 1956, the 700 in 1962, and the 700 was based on the 721 which was introduced in 1937.
But , the first poster is right - there is alot of rifles and shotguns with "7" in it.
