Dude - If you aint got your barrel's ordered by Sep for the next spring rifle comp's...you are toast as a smith unless u got some major pull

Yeah you can poke around Bruno's and such and maybe get lucky...quality gun stuff been tough to get last several years....Think they do it on purpose...part of the mystic is the wait

I should have ordered 2 barrels

I got my Brux already and SGMJody's is supposed to be here by the end of January. I wish I had the cash to order one in .223!

U got lucky and found a Brux at another location....

I want mines straight from Brux so I can be the first to caress that tinder triple lapped barrel before it goes to da smithy

Mine was still in the wrapper and packaging from Brux. I was PROBABLY the first to hold it to my shooter and my rifle noises with it!

It was all X's at 1000 when I first opened the wrapper. Then the barrel was installed on the rifle and imagination just doesn't get it done. Still far more accurate than I!

I wil say, the break-in on my Brux was short and sweet! I've never had a barrel that was so quick to clean!

That's good to hear...Think you and I got pretty much same blank...cept you got a 1:10 and I went 1:12...hell I can't even remember what I ordered...31 inch blank 30 cal 1.25 tapered to 1.00 to lose a lil weight

Got so many damn "toys" round here...can't member them all...Like ole woman and the shoe story lol

Mine was a straight blank. Alton turned it down a little. It's still over an inch at the muzzle. If I get a .223, I want an MTU contour. I think it's .9 at the muzzle.

Mine was a blank also...but you can get them to taper it...Might have been 1.5 at the lug tapered to 1.25...maybe 1.25 tapered to 1.00....I know that blank was over 10 lbs....it just saves Alton some time

Don't think I'm gonna need it next yr anyway...just gonna get it "prepped" and stick in the closet.

Old shot out Krieger I got now still shoots way better than I do

Might just shoot the 260 over in FPR anyway....I dunno

I'd try FPR, but I'll only get to make a few shoots anyway. I want to move up in F-Class clasification so I'll shoot there when I can. Regular blanks are 1.250 straight, so yours is probably 1.250 to 1.0.
